國語/中文一對一輔導（每週見面）

In this 1-on-1 Mandarin/Chinese tutoring class, your student will learn basic topics covered in grades K - 12. This class meets ONCE per week. You are welcome to sign up for more than one session :)  

Student will have one on one access to tutor via the online platform. Student may bring homework, classwork or any topic they want to cover to class. Assignments can be emailed or posted in the classroom at least 2 days prior to meeting. 

The first session will be an assessment to see where the student is, allow the teacher to know where they are, what they need help with, and how to prep the following lessons. 

A typical tutoring lesson would start with an introduction to make the student feel a bit more comfortable. We will then talk about the topic to be reviewed to see the cause for concern. Class will flow in a fun engaging matter to make it easy to understand, comprehension, and stick. We will focus on different strategies and allow the student to choose the one that best fit them. Throughout the lesson the teacher will constantly use questioning and modeling to check for comprehension. 

Students will meet once-a-week and learn the Mandarin/Chinese alphabet, characters, numbers, how to introduce themselves, basic conversation, common words and phrases, animals, food, school signs, sports and hobbies, weather, time words, calendar words, holidays, verbs, adjectives and much more!
