課堂經歷
In this one-time course, students will learn basic Mandarin conversation starters, such as: "How are you?" "Where are you from?" "Long time no see!" These will be learned through pinyin (the romanization of Chinese characters) and we will emphasize correct pronunciation. Tones will also be taught and reviewed throughout the lesson. Students will be given fun tips and tricks to remember pronunciation more easily. After content is taught, students will practice with each other and gentle correction will be given if needed.

Hi! My name is Hailey, and I teach Mandarin Chinese classes for beginning or intermediate students. I'm a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Chinese Dual Language Immersion Teaching for grades K-12.
I learned much of my Chinese when I lived in Taiwan for 18 months, and I have continued to study the language at my university and on my own. I loved every day in Taiwan as I practiced Chinese through conversing with locals. There's a huge feeling of accomplishment that comes with learning a new language--especially one as useful and fun as Mandarin--and I love helping students experience that!
I wish to create a relaxed learning environment in each class so students can feel comfortable speaking up and asking questions. My goal with every class is to help learners feel confident in their Mandarin abilities. Every student is important! Class will be engaging and fun :)評論
