This course will teach five reading skills and three reading strategies to assist Kindergarten through 3rd graders in their reading comprehension. If homework is assigned, students will only be required to read short passages or have them read to them prior to the session. The document will be placed on the classroom at least 2-3 days prior to the class date. Depending on the week and activity the student will need crayons, pencil, and paper. Picture books to read with students at home to apply skills if you do not have books or local library is closed short passages will be available on the classroom page.
