This class is designed to increase the student's joy of reading and writing by developing critical reading and writing skills. The student and teacher will pick a book together. Student's joy in reading and writing will increase. Student's confidence in his/her own ability to create reasonable and supportable opinions will increase. Student's understanding of the writing process will increase.
