課堂經歷
In this Ongoing Pokemon Club, students will take their love of Pokemon cards to the next level and make cards of their own! During each club meeting, students will let their creativity run wild and create any Pokemon cards they like in any way they like as we chat and have fun, student lead conversations. Do they want to make a Pikachu card that is super powerful and can do a lot of damage? Maybe they want to make up new Pokemon and create a card of it? What if they want to make a card of a...
By letting each student create Pokemon cards in any way they can imagine, they'll naturally gain skills needed to create the cards such as independent thinking, creative thinking, as well as reading comprehension, hand writing, mathematical skills and formatting skills depending how they choose to make their cards.
The supply list will be the exact same each week: Index Cards -I find that 3in x 5in (7.6cm x 12.7cm) index cards work well for Pokemon cards, however this size is not required. If you do not own index cards, other options for paper can be tracing a standard Pokemon card onto a piece of paper and cutting out the shape, or folding an 8 1/2in x 11in (22cm x 28cm) piece of paper into fourths and cutting along the creases. Anything the student likes to draw or decorate with -This can be pens, pencils, markers, crayons, stickers, glitter, tape, etc.
**Please Note: This is NOT a class and I do not plan on teaching anything to the students. What I am providing is a fun social club for student who have a love of Pokemon and a passion for creating to get together, chat and make Pokemon cards on any way they like.**
