Are you looking for a different way for your students to learn math? Then this is the class for them! This class is designed for students with Autism, ADHD and Neurodiverse Learners who are looking to learn or review third grade math concepts. By incorporating personal interests (characters/kid friendly topics) into each lesson, it will allow students to be engaged for the entire 30 minutes. I will also be providing numerous learning options so no matter what kind of learner students are, they will be able to grasp the material. If you child is a visual learner, we will have numerous PowerPoints, charts, graphs and diagrams so they can see all the information. If they are an auditory learner, I always make sure to explain everything thoroughly so students understand the topic. Even if your child is a kinesthetic learner, there will be time that we will be moving to practice our math skills. Most importantly this class is a no judgement zone. Every student will feel safe and able to be themselves in this class while they learn and have fun!

Week of Feb 15, 2024 – Multiplication Up to 100
Week Feb 22 – Multiplication Word Problems Up to 100
Week Feb 29 – Division Up to 100
Week 4 – Division Word Problems Up to 100
Week 5 – Two-Step Word Problems Using All 4 Operations
Week 6 – Rounding Whole Numbers to the Nearest Ten
Week 7 – Rounding Whole Numbers to the Nearest Hundred
Week 8 – What are Fractions?
Week 9 – Write and Tell Time to the Nearest Minute
Week 10 – Measure and Estimate Liquid Volumes
Week 11 – Drawing A Scaled Picture Graph
Week 12 – Drawing a Scaled Bar Graph
Week 13 – Finding Area
Week 14 – Finding Perimeter

Please note after Week 14, the curriculum will reset to Multiplication Up to 100
