Magical Friends: A Sailor Moon Fan Club & Social Group

In this weekly club, learners ages 11-16 will be able to socialize and play games with like-minded peers about all things Sailor Moon, the popular anime that has been a fan favorite for over twenty years! We will begin class by introducing ourselves and telling the class a fun fact about ourselves; how we started enjoying Sailor Moon and anime.  For example, I have been cosplaying since 2009 and watching Sailor Moon for even longer!  I have enjoyed the anime and manga series since I was in elementary school.  My first cosplay was a Sailor Venus costume from the anime series!

The classes will follow a different format every week since we are focused on socialization and having fun.  I will prompt the class with ice breaker questions and also begin conversation with the latest Sailor Moon news and updates, such as upcoming events with the voice actors, news about the manga and Sailor Moon Crystal.  Each session we will focus on a different conversation topic and activity as a starting point.  We will also play games to facilitate conversation and have fun.  

This will be a very comfortable and low-pressure environment where young Sailor Moon enthusiasts can feel safe sharing their ideas and interests.  It will help them improve social skills and create friendships.  All fans are welcomed in this on-going class!  Basic knowledge of Sailor Moon is encouraged but not required.  


All your student needs is a computer, tablet or smartphone and a love for Sailor Moon!

Because of the discussion and gaming nature of this course, class will be cancelled if we do not meet the 2 learner minimum requirement.
