Let's take a literary trip to the Middle Ages with the Magic Tree House Book 2, "The Knight at Dawn!" This course is a continuation of my Magic Tree House book club series. Please note, you *do not* have to read Book 1 to jump into Book 2! Dive into any book and enjoy the adventure. We will read our books together aloud in class while covering ELA standards for the general 6-8 age group. We'll also share and discuss the Middle Ages together! The course is collaborative, social, and hands-on, with reading, sharing, and active discussion taking place each week. The class supports homework, including a quiz. Students will read either independently or aloud with a parent at home each week to continue the discussion in class and build on what they learned the previous week. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded at the end of the class! Students will need a copy of Magic Tree House Book 2: "The Knight at Dawn," for class. Books can be checked out at the library or purchased bookstores for about $5-8/each.
