🔍In this ongoing class, the students will read one book a week filled with up-to-date information, photographs, illustrations, and tidbits from Jack and Annie. - 🔍The student will work on developing and sustaining foundational language skills: listening, speaking, discussion, and thinking; oral language. 🔍The student will work on developing comprehension skills by reading assigned texts, making predictions, making personal connections, and generate questions before, during and after reading. 🔍The student will use text evidence to support an appropriate response.
🔍 I am an experienced elementary teacher and reading specialist. Reading is my passion and I love inspiring reading in the younger child!
Homework

*Students should be comfortable reading chapter books that are at an intermediate level.
🔍Magic Tree House Fact Tracker Books 1-36 🔍These can be found in the local libraries, Amazon, EBay, Barnes and Noble to name a few.
🔍Parents, I have chosen a book series that will get the students excited to read and discuss and are appropriate for this age group. Please research each book on your own so you are comfortable with the content. As the parent or guardian, it is your role to make sure that the books are appropriate for your child as each child is different.
