In this class, long division steps will be taught. Students will take notes using color coding to visually see each long division step. Class is structured as follows:

10 minute Direct instruction and notes
10 minutes Guided practice
15 minutes independent work
5 minute review
5 minute silly division video

Learners will be able to interact with each other during introductions and guided work time. Students can share ideas with one another. My teaching style is to use visuals and many modes of instruction to reach different learning needs. This class is designed for students struggling with long division. Students should have a basic knowledge of multiplcation and division and how to use a multiplication chart.
