Students will learn basic strategies that will help them understand how to break down line, shape and color to create an optical illusion. This is a fun and very easy introduction to the style and genre of Op Art. We will use familiar imagery of stars and stripes to create a patriotic design just in time for our most beloved national holidays. This is a one-time class, so no homework will be required. This is class is a great prep for my more in-depth Op Art classes, which will be scheduled throughout the year.
