Is your little one ready to learn the letters of the alphabet? In this class, students will learn a letter of the alphabet each week along with beginning phonics skills.

Students will learn the names of each letter, the sounds of each letter, and different words that start with each letter. Students will learn through chanting, pictures, powerpoint activites, and repetition. I will instruct students on how to write each letter correctly, and they will have an opportunity to practice tracing each letter as well as completing activities about each letter together.

The class structure will look as follows:
-Hello song/previously learned letter review
-Introduction to letter
-Teach letter name and sound(s)
-Look at pictures of different words that begin with each letter
-Letter and sound song!
-Teach how to write letter correctly
-Give students time to practice tracing the letter and writing it on their own (air writing is also ok)
-Letter activities using an interactive PowerPoint

Please feel free to join at any time!

Students can bring a paper and pencil, whiteboard and marker, or my choose to air write letters each class!
