Join your fellow adventurers on an arctic adventure! In this class we will explore the fascinating world of the arctic. We will learn interesting facts about the arctic. (Did you know bird poop helps keep the arctic cold?) We will also learn amazing facts about some of the coolest arctic animals. (Did you know bearded seals smash their heads through the ice to make breathing holes?) 

Students will participate together in a fun "mission" that will involve counting skills, sorting and basic recall from what we learned in the class. We will complete the mission together, so there is no pressure on what your child knows coming into the class.

At the end of the class, when we have successfully completed the mission, your student will earn their Little Learner League - Arctic Adventure badge, as well as a certificate.

The class will be a mix of videos, pictures and hands on activities. For the hands on activities, children will have the ability to interact with the material presented on the screen (no prior skills are necessary). At the conclusion of the class I will send parents a message with attachments of additional activities that can be completed at home to reinforce the fun and learning!

If your child enjoys the class they may choose to take part in other Little Learner League classes (Ocean Adventure, Outer Space, etc.) to earn more badges and certificates!
