This 8-week class prepares learners for their first acting experience in a virtual production of the beloved story, "Where The Wild Things Are"! Learners will explore acting on day one with a variety of theater games and practice developing characters and reciting lines during week 2! Roles are cast during week 3 after a brief audition! Rehearsals commence for weeks 4-7 and culminate in the virtual performance and reception held the final week of class! *Note: In this production every child is promised a role and some roles may be doubled depending on enrollment outcomes. Due to the nature of the story and script, the enrollment minimum of 4 learners must be met in order for the production to run. The majority of the parts are gender-neutral however there are 1 male and 1 female specific parts in the show. Please advise me upon enrollment if your child cannot play a character of the opposite gender.

父母的引導和規範
Most of the parts in this production are gender-neutral with the exception of two roles. Depending on enrollment, some smaller roles may be doubled up. Parents should advise the instructor upon enrollment if their child cannot play a character of an opposite gender.
The story of "Where The Wild Things Are" is an award winning children's story that features three monsters (wild things) as characters. While this story is loved by many children, please review the story to ensure that the wild thing characters are not too scary or upsetting for your child (although they are sometimes the most fun roles to act!)
