專為有興趣的讀者而設的掃盲系列：Stellaluna 圖書研究

In this class we will read the story of "Stellaluna" and engage in discussions and activities to improve vocabulary and language skills. We will describe different aspects of the story such as characters, plot, setting and more.

We begin the first meeting with an introduction to the story. The teacher will read aloud while animating the narration with puppets and students will be invited to react and give their opinion. We will practice comprehension and analysis, ending the lesson with a short presentation about the science of bats. Week two will be centered around vocabulary games and activities. On week three, we will proceed to analyze the different elements of the story and will create an interactive board to illustrate our class work. Finally, week four will be for arts and crafts as well as conclusions.

Students will engage in partner activities and class discussions and will achieve deep understand  with hands on activities and a student centered role in the discussions.
