Thank you for taking some time to find out about my Level 4! Rock Out For Beginners Class.

In this level we will be learning:

1) How to use all of our foundational chord and strumming knowledge to play 4 real songs right along with the actual music. By now we've learned how to play 12 different chords and 11 different strumming patterns. Now it'll be very straight forward for you to play your favorite songs, relatively quickly.

2) How to use a capo to easily switch keys of a song. The use of a capo is vitally important as a tool used in any guitarists arsenal. I will be teaching all of my students the necessity of a capo as an item to quickly play various chord voicings.
 
3) Chromatic, 12 Major and 12 Minor scales. Understanding the language of music is imperative to fully grasping what a musician is playing on their instrument. Scales a re a massive component to deeply comprehend how music is made and why we enjoy hearing the songs we listen to. By the end of this series of classes you'll know how to play through any major or minor scale across your frets and strings with just a couple simple formulas. 

4) How to find the BPM's of any song. Whenever you listen to a song you'll notice that you can nod your head, tap your foot, clap your hands to "the beat". Each song is played to a set tempo and you'll be learning how to find the exact tempo of any song with a metronome.

5) Fundamental techniques for speed and stamina. One of the most impressive elements for playing the guitar well is speed, style and jamming for a long period of time. In level 4 you will be playing through another popular song from back to front including all vocal parts and guitar riffs/solos.
