Is your child ready for the next level of reading skills? This is the class for you. We will be strengthening reading and language skills through virtual board games and activities for: fluency, sight words, vocabulary, writing, suffixes, prefixes, nouns, homonyms, synonyms, adjectives, and similes. This class includes "Wiggle Breaks" to get our brains moving, reading circles and puzzles to help us practice our skills. I will teach live sessions which will provide opportunities for...
Students will become more proficient in reading, language and spelling skills through use of phonics and engaging activities.
Week 1 - Review letter sounds, vowel rules, multi-syllabic words, reading circle, fluency, letter blend games,

Students will need a bin/box with the following supplies available at each class: white board, 2 white board markers, white board eraser (a sock works), 2 pencils with erasers, twenty 3 X 5 cards, 20 sentence strips or paper that an adult has "cut" into 22 X 3 inch strips (these may be purchased and taped together for length, or cut copy paper to size and tape together for length), child proof scissors, 8 large slide-lock baggies and one "di" (singular for dice).
