Class 1 - How to hold the guitar
Strumming & plucking
String names
Class 2 - Review of Class 1 plus start to work on simple songs and chords
Class 3 - Continue work on songs & chords
Class 4 - Performance & review! Learners will have the chance to perform a solo if they would like to do so. It can be as simple as playing a rhythm or showing us their favourite string. The emphasis in this course is on process rather than...Students will learn the names of the guitar's strings, how to hold the guitar, plucking & strumming, and simple chords and songs.

Learners MUST have access to an appropriate size guitar during class. Please contact me if you have questions about the instrument you have. I'm asking parents to get color coded stickers to put on 2 of the frets on the guitar. You can either use stickers or there is a set of fret identifier stickers available on Amazon with this link https://www.amazon.com/Fretboard-Markers-Sticker-Decals-Guitar/dp/B00PGQYNOM/ref=sr_1_48?crid=1JH637FL27MV7&dchild=1&keywords=guitar+fretboard+stickers&qid=1608263997&sprefix=guitar+fretboard+%2Caps%2C173&sr=8-48 Alternately, if you would prefer just to use stickers or colored paper, we need to mark the first fret (closest to the end of the guitar) with blue and the third fret with red.
