In this English course, learners are given picture prompts to guide them as they develop their own story. Learners will be supported to develop their sentences in English, using new vocabulary and linking their ideas. Suitable for A2/B1 learners. Learners will develop their reading fluency, comprehension skills including knowledge of phonics, vocabulary, guessing meaning of words from context, sharing ideas and developing communication skills. Which books will be covered? 🔹 Week Beginning 21/10/24 - New Found Friend 🔹 Week Beginning 28/10/24 - In the Garden 🔹 Week Beginning 4/11/24: My Teddy Bear 🔹 Week Beginning 11/11/24: Field Day 🔹 Week Beginning 18/11/24: The Lost Cat 🔹 Week Beginning 25/11/24: At the Fair 🔹 Week Beginning 2/12/24: At the Beach 🔹 Week Beginning 9/12/24: Going for a Picnic 🔹 Week Beginning 16/12/24: Time to Study 🔹 Week Beginning 23/12/24 - The Lost Backpack 🔹 Week Beginning 30/12/24 - At School 🔹 Week Beginning 6/1/25 - A Windy Day 🔹 Week Beginning 13/1/25 - In the Playground 🔹 Week Beginning 20/1/25 - No More Ice Cream 🔹 Week Beginning 27/1/25 - Bad Kids 🔹 Week Beginning 3/2/25 - Biking in the Park 🔹 Week Beginning 10/2/25 - In the Library Further classes will be added. Please note, this is an English language class. Our own material are used to teach learners language including, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, fluency and writing skills.
