Students will learn introductory ASL signs related to meeting new people and expressing themselves.

I am the owner of Maryland Conflict Resolution. I learned my ASL skills  from having a brother who is deaf and interning at the American School for the Deaf. Please note, I do not have formal training in ASL, and there are many variations of signage based on the geographic location, age, demographics etc.  I will teach based on Maryland Conflict Resolution trains students, educators, employers and employees about effective conflict resolution and communication skills. Furthermore, I have a Masters of Education in School Counseling and an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I create a nurturing and safe environment for students to discuss their ideas and opinions freely, and I have an understanding of  the developmental stages children are in, and how to meet them at their level.
