These lessons cover a variety of topics to help beginner ESL students improve their communication skills. This course is designed to help beginner students speak confidently about everyday topics. Each week of this course, a new learning objective will be introduced. We will use slides and games and discussion to learn new material. This class can be started at any point of the lesson rotation. *Class will begin with a warm up, practice warm up material, learn new vocabulary then practice vocabulary in sentences, in Dialogue, then practice answering the questions for themselves and others. For example: Vocabulary- morning, afternoon, evening, and night. Practice - What do you do in the morning? I watch tv in the evening. I go to bed at night. After reviewing vocabulary words students will practice reading dialogue pertaining to the subject with the teacher or other students in the class. After four lessons we will have a review class, on the 5th class we practice everything we have learned in the previous weeks. Lessons 5, 10, 15, and 20 will be review materials. 🎓⭐Conversational classes can help you improve your English listening and speaking skills; but more importantly, they can help you learn how to communicate with confidence in English using your current level of English knowledge. This class is designed for students who are able to read independently and are looking to improve their conversation skills. This class will build confidence, help with expression, pronunciation and help with the memorization of new vocabulary words. Week of April 16th - What Is Your Daily Routine? Week of April 23rd - Review (Lessons 11-14) Week of April 30th - What Would You Like? Week of May 7th - What Does He Like Doing? Week of May 14th - What Time Is It? Week of May 21st - What Does She Do on the Weekend? Week of December 17th - What Is She Doing? Week of December 24th - Who Is YOur Best Friend? Week of December 31st - Review (Lessons 46-49) It is not necessary that the student is a fluent reader, but having knowledge of the following is helpful: Use the alphabet, numbers, greetings, basic expressions. You can say, recognize and write letters of the alphabet; say your name, ask others about their name and nationality; answer basic questions using simple vocabulary and incomplete sentences; name common everyday objects; talk about the weather, jobs and dates using simple language.

Teacher Mandy has 20 years of teaching experience from preschool to grade eight and 8 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language. She has taught over 8,000 ESL classes and over 1,000 students. She has followed many students throughout their English learning journey, from beginning (non-speaking) to being able to have full conversations, and from a basic understanding through fluency. With Teacher Mandy’s patient guidance, some practice, and regular lessons, you can achieve whatever goal you set for your English learning journey.
Teacher Mandy has a Bachelor of Science in Education with advanced certifications with TEFL and TESOL. She can teach any student, from the youngest learners to students approaching adulthood, from beginners through fluent speakers.
Class is taught using a fully immersive atmosphere, helping students dive deeply into English right from the beginning. From beginning English speakers to those who have been learning English for many years, Teacher Mandy will help you gain the skills to speak like a native English speaker, one class at a time.
