In this ongoing class, learner directed, I hope to provide a positive learning environment where students will feel comfortable and safe to interact with other students. Each week the students will be deciding what we talk about during class. This class will have discussions on the different forms of anime and manga. While the class is going on, students will have multiple opportunities to interact with the class. During our discussions, learners will be developing their communication and listening skills while building friendships along the way. 

A example of what the weeks may look like:
week of 01/18: Which anime did you like/dislike the most? 
week of 01/25:  Who is your favorite villain/hero? Which hero/villain did you think fell short? 
week of 02/01: Which adaptation did you enjoy/dislike watching the most?
week of 02/08: What do you hope for the future of anime? 
week of 02/22: Thoughts on "Modest Heros" movie?
week of 03/01: Toilet bound Hanako-Kun (Friday) / The Promised Neverland (Monday)
week of 03/08: Toilet bound Hanako-Kun (Friday) / The Promised Neverland (Monday)
week of 03/15: Toilet bound Hanako-Kun (Friday) / The Promised Neverland (Monday)
Note: this weekly plan is open to change because the students may want to discuss something different than the topics listed.
