In this one time class, we will explore the world of animals and a few insects with spooky names. We will discuss the name of each animal or insect, where it lives, and it's size. I will be showing the learners real pictures of these animals (bats, insects, squids, a snake , tarantula, and crabs) during class. The children will have many opportunities to discuss their experiences and opinions about these animals with spooky Halloween names and insects. Please be sure to bring paper and drawing materials to class. During the class we will also be having fun drawing our own spooky animals. The children will be asked to share their drawings with the other learners, if they would like. It is ok if they do not wish share their drawing. I can't wait to meet you all in class!

I have been teaching for the last 27 years in a variety of settings. I have worked with children 3 to 12 years of age. I have created curriculum for 3-6 year old's, tutored, been a nanny, an assistant director, assistant teacher for early learners in the school district, and taught English (ESL) online.
