In this one time class, students will get a basic understanding of the Philippines, its culture and languages. We will then focus on Tagalog which is the national language of the Philippines. We will learn greetings and introductions. Students will be taught pronunciation and intonation of words and sentences. If need be, I will introduce the basics of reading Tagalog words. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I speak 4 major Filipino languages/dialects. Years ago, I was a licensed school teacher in the Philippines and taught Filipino (Tagalog) in the classroom. I understand how it is to learn a new language. I am patient and kind to my students. I strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment for my students. My students' progress is my success.
