This course is for students who have taken my previous "Summer Intensive Let's speak Japanese! Level 1." In addition to all the materials covered in the previous course, we will cover topics such as asking for directions, shopping, ordering food, sports and activities, and asking various questions, etc. Students will practice speaking and listening through modeling/repeating after the instructor and various group activities such as role-playing, fill-in-the-blanks, and working with partners in breakout groups. The class begins with a quick opening activity followed by a short review session from the previous lesson, the main language topic introduction, and activities to reinforce new concepts. Here is the weekly breakdown of what students are learning in this course: Week 1(two lessons) - Previous course review, possession and personal pronouns. Week 2(two lessons) - Shopping, dining, and food. Week 3(two lessons) - Where things are and Preposition. Week 4(two lessons) - Asking directions and a review game.
