In this music class we will sing a variety of songs and do activities about the songs aid the learning in an engaging and fun way.  We will integrate these songs with the world around us.  We will learn one or two new songs a day and have actions or a game that goes with the song.  The students will interact with the teacher and each other, building interpersonal skills, while we sing. This class will be teacher led, using slides, using echo singing as a class, and one on one opportunity for students to explore the topic of the song. We will sing about birds and animals and summertime activities.    I believe that when students are given the opportunity to explore music in a fun and engaging way, they will develop a love for music.  As we integrate music with other subjects (math, science, language arts, social studies) their abilities in music and the other subjects grown.
