Let's Sign the Alphabet Together: ASL Camp

In this 2 week camp, your child will learn the alphabet in American Sign Language.

In this introduction to ASL camp, your child will learn/improve their mastery of the alphabet in ASL. Children learn best through fun and play; in this interactive class learners will play games that utilize alphabet signs to help them learn the alphabet in ASL.

These sections do build on top of each other, so it is important that learners attend each section. There is some review build into the sections, so it is okay if your learner were to miss an occasional section. However, if a learner skips consecutive sections, they will likely have a difficult time keeping up with the rest of the sections/enjoying the games we play together. 

I will open each section with fun icebreaker that incorporates movement/signs. Afterward your learner will explicitly be taught the alphabet signs and play a game that allows them to practice the alphabet signs they are learning in the day's lesson. We will also review signs learned in previous lessons. 
This interactive camp is a great way to introduce your learner to sign language and help them develop a love for ASL.

Time may go over schedule depending on the learner’s level of engagement.
