課堂經歷
In this course, learners prepare their entries for Reading or Speech Competition. Learners need to share their pieces in the classroom at least 24 hours before the first class to allow sufficient time for the teacher to prepare. A range of topics can be included over the course. Here are some suggestions based on previous preparation courses we have run: Week 1 - How to Conduct Ourselves On The Day Week 2 - Let's Role-Play Week 3 - The Importance of Confidence Week 4 - You Can Do It! Week 5 - Understanding the Poem: Read the Story Clearly, Train Your Tone Week 6 - Correct Posture: Training Breathing Techniques, Increases Volume and Confidence Week 7 - Acting Skills: Using Facial Expressions to Express Content Week 8 - Speaking Skills: Using Rhythm and Tone, Adding Variation Week 9 - Performance Skills: Action and Prep for Performance Week 10 - Let's Remember: Learn the Poem by Heart, Let's Practise Week 11 - Let's Practise: Learner's Try Everything Together Week 12 - Working on Specific Areas This is a preparation class for Reading and Speech Competitions.
