During this class learners will listen to and play drums and any other instruments that they have. This exciting, informal jam session will give learners an opportunity to express themselves through music, music, and dance. Children can use handmade drums and instruments or “real” ones that they already have. We will play around with rhythm and talk about how we might move to different types of rhythms. We'll also discuss how music can make us feel, or how the way we're feeling can show up in...
Learners will work on social skills, rhythm, and self expression through music.
I have been leading informal drum circles for kids for 10 years.
Learners will need scarves and/or ribbons for movement time. Learners will also use homemade and non homemade instruments for class.
Please make sure that children have plenty of safe, open space to stand, jump, and move around.
