In this class we will talk all things Minecraft. We can share tips and tricks, experiences, what we like and don’t like, our accomplishments, and show off our builds. 

All students who are enrolled in the class will have access to my own private world where we can all play multiplayer Minecraft together. Recently we have added the option for players to play in either survival or creative! (It used to be survival only). Players will have the ability to freely switch between survival and creative as they wish. 
This class will be using the BEDROCK edition (which is the same as the POCKET edition) of Minecraft which can be played on PC, Xbox, Playstation, Mobile (Android, iPad, etc.), and Nintendo Switch. 
To join the world, you will need to be signed into your Microsoft account (so we can add each other as friends), and you will need the online service of the device you are playing on. For example - Nintendo Switch will need Nintendo Online, Xbox will need Xbox Live, etc.

**If a student is looking to play on the JAVA edition of Minecraft (which is computer only), I have other classes available for that version. This class will NOT work for JAVA edition**

We will play together during class time. Working together to gather resources, fight bosses, create epic builds, and more!
All classes, everyday and every time, will play on the same multiplayer world. So, a player can join any day and any time and continue their progression from last time. 

Students do NOT need to attend previous classes to join. Students are free to join and leave anytime. 

To ensure everyone has a positive experience while playing there will be a few rules. (We may decide as a class to add additional rules as issues arise).
a.	The server is family friendly. No inappropriate language or content.
b.	No griefing! Do not steal other players items or destroy their creations.
c.	Respect! No bullying! We will all be friendly, fair, and respectful. 
d.     PVP (Player VS. Player - in game fighting) is allowed ONLY if both players agree. If a player does not want to fight or be attacked, then do NOT attack them. 
Failure to follow these rules will result in the player being temporarily removed from the world. Continued violations will result in a permanent ban from the world.

Students enrolled in the class will have access to the world during class time as long as they are currently enrolled in the class. 
During the class we will work on a variety of projects together including mining for resources, building structures, fighting bosses, and more! While playing we will also discuss Minecraft and other appropriate topics that come up in class. 

If students wish to join the world and play together, they must be using the BEDROCK edition of Minecraft with the latest update. 
We will need to add each other as friends to play together so the student will need to provide their Minecraft username to the teacher to allow access to the world. This name will only be visible to the teacher and other students in the class. 
Upon joining, I will send a message explaining how to add a friend on Minecraft (it is very easy!)

Students can also join the class just to talk about Minecraft. Playing on the server is not required (however, most do play so I don’t want your learner to feel bored or left out).
