Sculpting Mission 1: Mermaid. We will create a Ariel the Mermaid made out of polymer clay or air dry clay. We will work with tools you have around the house, ie. a rolling pin, plastic knife, spoon, etc. We will learn techniques for shaping, sculpting, blending, texturing, thinning, scraping, poking, and cutting while we create this wonderful underwater Ariel mermaid. There will be step-by-step directions and constant check-in to make sure everyone is up to task. If you prefer a different class time, please send me a message or a schedule request! My schedule is pretty flexible, and I'd be happy to work around your student's time constraints!
