In this Ongoing Class, learners will explore a range of Geography subjects in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers. Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, videos and much more. Learners will be encouraged to explore, question and share what they learn. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs. What is taught in this course? Week of 12/08/2024 - Craters and meteorites Week of 19/08/2024 - Hot and cold Week of 26/08/2024 - Rain and snow Week of 02/09/2024 - Hurricanes Week of 09/09/2024 - Biomes Week of 16/9/2024 - The Earth’s Crust Week of 23/9/2024 - Earthquakes Week of 30/9/2024 - Mountains Week of 7/10/2024 - Volcanoes Week of 14/10/2024 - Ocean Floor Week of 21/10/2024 - Ocean in Motion Week of 28/10/2024 - Rivers Please note, this course can be taken in additional to the Ongoing Science class. Although some themes may look similar, material, classes and learning objectives are different.
