In this science club, learners will discover an incredible snake each week. We will discover its habitat, some amazing facts and learn about science, geography and amazing animals. Classes will include a range of activities including quizzes, worksheets, Q&A, presentations, videos and much more! Learners will develop their own Animal Factfile each week on the animal they learn about. Duration of each class is 30 minutes and is an ongoing class. Week of 7/10/2024 - Albino Monocled Cobra Week of 14/10/2024 - California Red-Sided Garter Snake Week of 21/10/2024 - King Cobra Week of 28/10/2024 - Speckled Rattlesnake Week of 4/11/2024 - Red Spotted Pit Viper Week of 11/11/2024 - Green Anacondas Week of 18/11/2024 - Eyelash Viper Week of 25/11/2024 - Mangrove Snakes Week of 2/12/2024 - Green Cat Snake Week of 9/12/24 - Blood Pythons Week of 16/12/24 - Black Pakistan Cobras Week of 23/12/24 - Indian Sand Boa Week of 30/12/24 - Venezuelan/Columbia Rattlesnake Week of 6/1/25 - Rowley's Palm Pit Viper Week of 13/1/25 - Grey Banded Kingsnake Week of 20/1/25 - Green Tree Pythons Week of 27/1/25 - Many Horned Adder Further classes will be added. The class will be interactive and supportive to cater to learners of different learning styles. We are a team of experienced teachers who are calm, patient and supportive whilst ensuring that the children are constantly learning. The environment will be dynamic and learners will actively participate throughout the class. As an experienced teacher, I am capable of adapting my style to suit the learners. Please do message us with any additional needs the students may have such as difficulties with Communication and interaction; Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN); difficulties with Cognition and learning; Social, emotional and mental health difficulties; Sensory and/or physical needs.
