This class will be great for students to practice their spelling, reading, and social skills in fun ways.  In these weekly classes, students learn and practice words with the magic E and vowel teams to help strengthen their spelling and reading in a casual setting. 

Books, passages, riddles, puzzles, and games are some of the ways that will be used to learn these vowel teams: ai, ay, ey ea, ee, ei, ie, igh, oa, oe, ew, ue,  oi, oy, ow, au, aw, oo and words with the silent e. 

Students should be able to read short vowel words and some sight words before starting this class.

This class meets once a week, but students are welcome to join in more than one section if they want more practice. The focus sound will be the same for the whole week across all sections.
