Fáilte! This is a class for learners who want to begin learning Irish. The private class allows me to customize the curriculum to your child's needs and interests. Dia duit! Róisín is ainm dom! Having grown up and trained as a teacher in Ireland, I taught Irish every day as part of the elementary curriculum. Learning Irish, as with any language, should be fun, engaging and interactive. I aim to immerse students in a full Irish language experience where possible, modeling the language and using prompting to encourage the students to participate, with the aim of reducing the use of English in class as your learner's understanding grows. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in tutoring elementary students in reading, writing, language skills, and Irish language. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Education, and am a trained Science of Reading tutor. I am passionate about fostering a curiosity and love of learning in each student.
I create an environment where students build confidence, develop essential skills, and grow as learners. My lessons are designed to be meaningful, relevant, and engaging, helping students develop critical thinking skills, and grow in confidence. I create one to one lessons tailored to your child's needs, and group lessons that help students learn those key skills and knowledge in a suportive and engaging environment.
I am passionate about helping your child grow in reading, writing, and language skills, and I look forward to guiding them on their educational journey in both English and the Irish language.評論
