Students will have fun learning how to skip-count with new songs each week! 

Students will watch a new posted video each week introducing a new concept of skip-counting and with an opportunity to join me (in the pre-posted video) in skip-counting songs! Each week will have a posted assignment for the students to complete and post to the flex class page to share with the other students. These assignments will be drawing, coloring, and singing oriented. Students will also have an opportunity to go on a skip-counting/numbers scavenger hunt! Each week, students will respond to each other's posts, either through a posted video or by typing out a response in the classroom. The teacher will respond weekly to each student's individual assignment. (Posting in the classroom is always optional for the students, but is highly encouraged!) 

Week 1 - Skip-counting by 2s
                Practicing counting groups of 2
     Assignment: Color the skip-counting page worksheet and post to the classroom page. 

Week 2 - Skip-counting by 3s
                Practicing counting groups of 3
    Assignment: Go on a scavenger hunt around the student's home and take pictures of all the arrangements of 3 items you can find, then post to the classroom page. 

Week 3 - Skip-counting by 4s
                Practicing counting groups of 4
     Assignment: Draw 4 of your favorite animal on one page and post to the classroom page. 

Week 4 - Skip-counting by 5s
               Practicing counting groups of 5
     Assignment: Post a video of the student singing the skip-counting songs to the classroom page.
