In this 25-minute class, students will be introduced to skip-counting by 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s! In this introductory lesson, students will view a colorful and engaging slide presentation with the different skip-counting arrangements on them, as I introduce a new song for each new number! The slide presentation will also include visuals of different arrangements of objects and animals in groupings of 2, 3, 4, and 5, so the students can practice their new skip-counting by singing skills! This is an introductory, gateway to learning multiplication times tables lesson. **Kids should be able to count and identify numbers from 1 to 10 before enrolling in this class.** STEM / STEAM / Math / Skip-counting / Times Tables / Singing

For certain portions of the class, I made need to mute the students in order for them to hear the songs we will be singing together clearly. I will ask them to unmute whenever the singing portion is done! Also, if students are being disruptive please know that I will mute them at my discretion to keep a good learning environment for all the other learners as well. However, I will still give kids who have a harder time being quiet opportunities to unmute and participate in the class as well.
