Discover the exciting world of dog agility! No dog needed, just an interest in the sport. We will discuss a bit of the history of agility and how it has evolved. Students will view pictures and videos of dogs participating in agility. Several of the different agility organizations will be presented, such as AKC, UKI, and CPE. The equipment will be discussed and course maps will be analyzed. Faults and scoring will be presented. This course follows a lecture format with class discussion and...
Students will learn about the sport of dog agility, and how to get started participating.
Instructor has trained and competed in dog agility for 20 years. Multiple title holder in several agility organizations. She is a judge in training for UKI Agility.
