In this class, students will be able to practice important literacy and math concepts, while exploring the farm. The class will begin with greetings and a fun farm question. After this, we will discuss various facts about the farm, farm animals, and jobs on the farm using portions of books to do this. While learning these facts, we will incorporate various literacy skills and concepts such as, letter recognition and letter sounds, rhyming, sight words, vocabulary and how to look at print. We will also discuss various science concepts including: habitats, animal characteristics, and what plants and animals need. For the last part of class, we will play farm themed literacy and math games. These games will review the literacy concepts mentioned above and include math concepts such as, counting, number recognition, shapes, and patterns. 

This class is a fun and interactive way to practice important skills and concepts for Pre-K and Kindergarten while having fun learning about the farm.
