During this class, children will learn about the 5 senses, basic body knowledge, and emotions. The material will be presented in a variety of age-appropriate ways including with: books, songs, rhymes, videos, role playing, activities, and discussions. This class will help your preschool child learn necessary skills that will help them throughout their lives. I will provide extra resources and materials to all families so the learning can continue throughout the week. I am a soft-spoken and patient teacher. The children will be able to interact by participating in activities and discussions, singing and dancing, and asking questions. No experience or previous knowledge is needed to enroll in this course. 


Week 1- We will begin talking about the 5 senses in general (and where each are located on our bodies) and then focus on the sense of sight. We will also address the emotions: happy, mad, and sad.

Week 2- We will focus on the sense of hearing and touch. We will also address the emotions: scared and nervous. We will also begin putting together what we have learned to begin drawing faces and/or bodies (depending on the child's level).

Week 3- We will focus on the sense of smell and taste. We will also continue to work on drawing faces and/or people. The very last class will be a celebration and review of all we have learned!
