The goal of this class is to promote pretend play, as it is one of the most important types of plays especially in young and developing learners. Learners will also learn some basic information about veterinarians and the job they do. We will pretend to be vets, and care for our sick stuffed animals. Learners may have other registered learners in the class to enjoy class with or they can have class with only me, either way the goal is to have fun and pretend! This class is not to be meant as a tool to teach learners how to fully care for their pets (while we do talk basic care), or to teach them specifics things vets do. We will not discuss surgery, deadly illness or the need to euthanize animals. This class is not to be used as any sort of training to care for a real or sick animal, please seek a professional and certified veterinarian for assistance.
