During this class, we will read "Things that go on Land" and "Things that go Air & Sea" both board books by PaperCraft Design Group. We will discuss the purpose of each transportation vehicle (service vehicles, construction vehicles and daily use vehicles) and the sound they make. Students will also learn math as they learn the colors, numbers 1-5, and the difference between big, medium and small. As the teacher, I will guide the students through the process of letter and sound recognition and using of the 10-frame chart to "park" vehicles as we count them. We will also sing along with transportation songs that will help your child learn the names of different transportation vehicles!

Hola! I love teaching ever since I can remember! I have volunteered at my local church as a catechist since 2012 and have worked as a substitute teacher. I have worked in high school setting while substituting and as a Teacher Assistant in Pre-K. I am a certified elementary school teacher with the state of Texas and hold a certification to teach Spanish.
I firmly believe that school is extremely important, and it is ESSENTIAL for children to start at a young age. I will offer classes for Pre-K and Kinder level. Teaching material will include but are not limited to ABC's, letters/numbers recognition, colors, shapes, writing, morning circle activities, and also some story times.
I look forward to teaching your child while they have fun!
