課堂經歷
In this ongoing LEGO social club, learners will have a fun new LEGO building task each week to complete during class while we chat! This is a not a competitive class. At the beginning of each class, builders will be encouraged to share an awesome build that they have created that week prior to class. Then I will give learners a topic to build, they will have 15-20 minutes to build. Occasionally I will share a YouTube video that shows how to build something. If I do show a video it will be after at least 10 minutes after the beginning of class to encourage learners to be creative. My goal for this class is that learners use their creativity to use what LEGO pieces they have to create something new.

Students will learn to build various types of LEGO structures using critical thinking skills.
Students will build upon social skills by presenting their LEGO builds, and sharing suggestions and ideas in class.

I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education (Birth to 3rd grade). I was formally trained by Handwriting Without Tears, as well as Zoo Phonics. I have taught numerous children of all backgrounds in person and online using both Handwriting Without Tears and Zoo Phonics. I have taught Preschool through Kindergarten for 5 years, plus 2 years in older grades, as well as my stepdaughters and my daughter using the Handwriting Without Tears method.
