This course is the next step for children who have already gone through my "Learning to Read by Blending and Reading CVC Words (Beginners)" course. https://outschool.com/classes/learning-to-read-by-blending-and-reading-cvc-words-7oxhXuUQ?sectionUid=55966c4c-19a9-4712-a7da-963f7658758e#usVawrPRm4 If your child has not gone through it, but has had practice blending and reading CVC words independently or with minimal assistance, then this may also be a good fit for them. In this ongoing course, students will continue to build a foundation for successful reading. Students will engage in a fun and interactive lesson to blend and read CVC and CVCe words from different word families. Our class time is jam-packed with interactive activities and games designed to help your student succeed! I love teaching children how to read. This is a lifelong skill that opens up a whole new world of possibilities and adventures for all! I look forward to helping your children along on this wonderful journey!

Hello! My name is Veronica Rojas and I am excited to meet you! I have had the pleasure of working with children since my early teen years. I have taught gymnastics, music, ESL, Spanish, and elementary/middle/high school grades). I have homeschooled my children for the past 15 years and have also been an online teacher for the past five years. I am a loving and patient educator who believes learning should be FUN! I encourage participation and lots of questions in all of my classes. When I am not teaching, I absolutely love spending time with my husband and children. We have two special needs children (Cerebral Palsy and Autism Spectrum Disorder) and a typical child that keep us on our toes!
