Throughout school, learners will receive unfamiliar texts that they will need to comprehend independently. Annotating is a skill that can help learners complete this process effectively. Teacher Kennadee is a certified English teacher.
Learners are encouraged to have either a secondary device to annotate on or be able to print out a copy of the text prior to the lesson. If using a printed version, learners are encouraged to have a variety of colored pens/highlighters for annotating.
During class, we will refer to "The Birthday Party" by Katherine Brush.
