Have you ever wanted to bring your drawings to life? In this ongoing animation class, students will learn the principles of animation and practice frame-by-frame, hand-drawn 2D animation using digital animation programs. Each session, we will cover a new animation concept while animating alongside the teacher for a hands-on learning experience.

✨ What We’ll Learn:

✔️ The 12 Principles of Animation (e.g., squash & stretch, anticipation, timing, and more!)

✔️ How to animate frame-by-frame in 2D

✔️ How to create smooth, expressive motion

✔️ Tips & tricks to improve your animations

Each week, we will focus on a different animation concept. Students will follow along, animating in real time with guidance and feedback.

Class Structure:
📌 Weekly Theme: A new animation technique or principle each class

🖌️ Hands-On Practice: Students animate alongside the teacher

💬 Feedback & Discussion: Students can share their work and get tips

Experience Level:
Beginner & Intermediate – No prior animation experience required!

Supplies Needed:
📱 A tablet or phone with the Flip-a-Clip app (or any other frame-by-frame animation program)

✏️ A stylus (optional, but recommended for better control)
