課堂經歷
In this one time class, students will meet Princess Samantha and her magical pet cat Max. Students will learn to write CVC words while listening to a fairy tale about Samantha and Max. Throughout this class we will talk about our favorite princesses, review vowel sounds, and write CVC words that we hear throughout the fairy tale. This is an interactive class with a Google Slide presentation that will have students answering questions and writing words. Before taking this class students should know their letters and have a good understanding of letter sounds.

Hello! My name is Ms. Megan! I’m very excited for this opportunity to teach your child on Outschool. I believe learning should be interactive and engaging. I design each class with these two qualities in mind. I love teaching young learners beginning reading skills. My classes will be focused on letter identification, letter formation, letter sounds, and CVC words.
Each of my classes is designed with active learning in mind. Active learning promotes memory and learning comprehension. I believe students learn the best when interacting with the learning material and being actively engaged in the lesson. In my classroom you will see modeling, games, songs, technology, and interactive activities such as using dry erase whiteboards.
I have a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and an active teaching license in Ohio. I am licensed to teach grades PK-5 and reading intervention. I have 5 years of teaching experience in this age group with an additional 3 years of teaching experience teaching English as a second language.
I am a mom of three daughters. I have twin 3 year olds and a 3 month baby girl. I use the same teaching philosophy at home with my 3 year old daughters that you will see in my classroom.
