Each week for 8 weeks, students will be guided through a series of lessons that include fun activities, flashcards, quizzes, and more. Students will learn the basics of music theory and how to read notes on a staff. Together we learn - not only to read music - but about a lot of the supportive elements that make up written music. (At the beginning of each class we will review what we learned the previous week as well as complete a short activity centered around reading notes.) THERE WILL BE...
Students should finish this class with a basic understanding of beginning music theory, and know how to read one and a half octaves of written music.
