This is a course meant to explain to students what multiplication is. They will learn that multiplication is repeated addition through examples and models. This course is important for students that are barely being introduced to multiplication. Students will not learn multiplication facts in a memorization manner, they will learn to calculate answers through repeated addition and using models. Students will be shown an example of multiplication using repeated addition and then will be given problem to do on their own using this method. Students will then repeat this procedure using models.
