In this one-time class students will build upon techniques to sketch and draw a city scene by utilizing an often overlooked perspective - one from way above! The Bird's Eye View. This class is built upon the techniques in my other other Street Scene Sketching Class but it is taught independently. Students will first learn to draw different stylized buildings building up their scene and then add an a bird and nest to show depth. Realistic shadows and textures will be introduced. Once laid out we will add shadow and light and finish coloring in our scenes. Learners will be encouraged to share their work with the class.
